The Book Report
Here you can find links to all the entries I’ve done related to books I’ve read with my ratings of each. Well, a lot of them are rated. Some of them, I punked out on actually doing reviews or rating, but I swear I read them.
Rating system defined:
10 sparks= Really awesome, one of my all time favorites. Classic example: Pride and Prejudice
5 sparks= Eh… meaning I liked it okay but I’m not going to be researching a sequel or stalking the inetrnet for fan pages. Classic Example: Oliver Twist
1 spark: As my sorority used to say about girls we didn’t like during rush, better suited elsewhere. Meaning, anywhere but on my book shelf. Classic Example: Jude the Obscure (I mean, I see why it’s a big deal but geez.)
A Note: You’ll notice that I stopped giving ratings sometime in 2010. I just started to realize I was giving everyone 7s or 8s and it was hard to give people lower ratings. If I hate a book, I’ll say so. If I love a book, I’ll gush over it. Otherwise, just assume I liked it okay. I like most books.
Books I’ve read since starting this blog:
